Welcome to the Resources and Links page! In the years of researching different information, I have found the following websties the most useful. Once again, I must say that neither this site nor these links can substitute for the advice of your practicing physician. They simply offer information.

Arthritis Foundation

http://www.arthritis.org/

Cavan's Mom Says: This site gives you information on current research being done with RA, joint conservation, and general disease information. You can sign up for Arthritis Today magazine. You can post threads to speak with others on RA topics.

HealthTalk Interactive

http://www.healthtalk.com/

Cavan's Mom Says: The part I like best about this is that it offers discussions with doctors on RA related topics where people can call in and ask their questions directly to a physician.  Jan 2009, this site was taken over by Everydayhealth.com.  I believe they are keeping HealthTalk's content, but haven't yet checked them out.

BabyCenter

BabyCenter.com

Cavan's Mom Says: When we were trying to get pregnant, this site had bulletin boards where you could talk to other women with RA who were trying to get pregnant or were pregnant. Be prepared to cry a little when you read some of their stories!

WebMD

http://www.webmd.com/

http://www.webmd.com/rheumatoid-arthritis/ra-tv

Cavan's Mom Says: This website is good for looking up medical information on drugs.

March 2009: WebMD launched RAtv with helpful information/videos specific to RA.  Woo hoo!

Parents with Disabilities Online

Parents with Disabilities Online--Adaptive/Adaptable Baby Care

Cavan’s Mom Says: This website is good for resources on parenting with disabilities. It has some ideas/resources on getting your baby up off the floor or out of the crib, etc...
